Ovulation Calculatorhome > reproductive health > ovulation calculatorIf you're trying to get pregnant, determining when you may be ovulating is essential. This will help you identify your most fertile days. Your date of ovulation is calculated by taking away 14-16 days from the expected date of your next period. This calculator only provides estimates based on accepted averages. If your period lengths vary significantly from month to month, or tend toward short or long cycles (less than 21 days or more than 35 days) the calculator is unlikely to provide useful results. Sperm can live in the female body for around 5 days, so having intercourse from around 2-3 days before ovulation to a day afterwards, should ensure there is sperm ready to fertilize the egg. As always, you should contact a qualified medical advisor if you are seeking detailed advice. Start date of your last period: |
